Urine and Feces: Urine = fluid containing nitrogenous waste (plus ions).
- Nitrogenous end products are: ammonia, urea, and uric acid.
- Ammonia (NH3): Very soluble in water & energetically inexpensive. Very toxic.
- Cannot be stored; eliminated immediately across skin and gills _ aquatic species.
