Graduate Students mentored in my lab are working on an M.S. in Biology through the Evolutionary Biology program area. Starting in Fall 2009, we will being offering a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology. I generally accept one or two students per year, in either the Fall or Spring semesters. I am looking for motivated, hard-working students that have a good idea of why they would like to attend graduate school. Students do not necessarily have to work on one of my own projects, and I encourage students to develop their own ideas. Check out the Graduate Student Research page to learn more about student projects that I have sponsored in the lab. If you are thinking about applying, I suggest you look through my web page and read some of the papers we have published. Then, please send me an e-mail describing your research interests and why you would like to work in my lab. It is also helpful if you include a resume or C.V. with G.P.A. and GRE scores, if available. Complete information about applying to the MS program can be found on the EB Master's Program web page. |
