Staff
Lisa Thurn
Lisa Thurn is the Ecology Analytical Technician and is responsible for managing and operating an analytical chemistry laboratory. Lisa conducts chemical analyses on samples collected by Ecology faculty and students, and also is responsible for assuring quality of results and preparation of reports of analyses. She also supervises student assistants and manages a local accounting system for user-generated fees, assists faculty in the development of new course offerings that deal with the use of scientific instrumentation and chemical analyses, and provides advice to faculty and graduate students on problems associated with chemical analyses and sampling techniques.
