The FACS facility at SDSU provides a variety of services.  Graduate Students or Post-Docs from San Diego State University or outside users can be trained to utilize the instrument themselves,  or may have a core operator perform analysis or sorting for them. 

Services

For the analysis of cell cycle, proliferation,  viability, labeled intracellular markers, detection of cell surface markers,  etc., users can run experiments themselves or have the operator run their prepared samples for them.

Flow Cytometry Analysis

For the isolation of labeled or unlabeled sub-populations of cells, more experienced users may perform sorts on their own, or opt to have an operator sort their populations for them.
