WELCOME TO THE SPRING 2008
SEMESTER.
WE HOPE YOU HAVE A PRODUCTIVE AND SUCCESSFUL SEMESTER.
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
Undergraduate Advisor
One announcement at last Friday's Faculty Meeting has
probably been overshadowed by the bad budget news, so I'll make it again
and in a special E-mail to faculty. Kathy Williams will be leaving
the position of Vice Chair and Undergraduate Advisor at the end of this
Academic Year in order to assume a new position as Co-Director of the
Center for Teaching and Learning. I would like to thank Kathy for
her many years of service as Undergraduate Advisor.
At this
time I would like to call on any faculty member who might be interested
in the position of Vice Chair of the Department and Undergraduate
Advisor. Kathy and I would be happy to discuss the perks (and
anti-perks) of the position. Please contact Kathy or me if you are
interested.
