Background

I grew up in Maryland, spending time in New Hampshire and South Carolina (briefly) before the move west. I came to California to work for UC Berkeley and lived in northern California for several years, exploring the Sierra Nevada and southern Cascade Mountains. I've been in San Diego since 2003, and am learning to love working in chaparral.
